Highlights of September

Here's just a few highlights from the past month.

1) Ella started Kindergarten! She was absolutely thrilled. When her teacher opened to door to let the kids in on the 1st day she didn't even look back to wave goodbye.....Ben and I were a little bummed out about that and on the walk home he says, "I miss my Ella." So sweet.....

2) Had the chance to sneak away with my neighbor ladies to one of their cottages. So much fun, weather was awesome. We walked, snacked, crafted, ate, watched 'Pretty in Pink', ate, slept in, ate again.......you get the idea........

3) Brent played at his friends CD release party. Got a babysitter and went to watch. I love watching him have fun doing what he loves

My latest kit in the LDD shoppe.....I had FAR too much fun putting this one together!

Here's a layout I did about Ella's preschool farm trip from last spring....now I think I've got to make one about COFFEE..........

So, more often than I'd like to admit I do the "quick" supper. Since I've started designing and since I've now got 2 very picky eaters, I tend take the easy road in this department. Last night I decided to put the extra effort in and made what I thought was a delicious supper. When the kids came to eat it was pure torture......I just thought, "No, don't thank me, your dry heaves say it all!"
Definitely need some more kid friendly/grown up friendly meal ideas.................

Wow, never thought I'd be a blogger......not because I don't like the idea, Ido. I like to read other peoples blogs and follow their links, etc. But, never thought I'd get around to doing one myself. Might just be fun! :o)
